While we’re on the roll to save mother nature, we can’t neglect the most important thing about electricity. It’s high voltage and dangerous. Our utmost concern for our customers is to help them save costs, improve living and be safe from electricity hazard.

Suria and Sonne started in 2015 with grand vision to harness the sun while doing it safely. Since then we’ve installed over 50MWp for industrial (about 12,500 solar panels) and 2MWp for homes (about 500 solar panels).

We’ve worked with universities, TNB (GSPARX) and overseas clients (UK, Africa, etc)

Suria and Sonne means, Sun in Malay and German. While trained in German that focuses on utmost safety, we celebrate our local roots, Malaysia. Combining both, we have Suria and Sonne.

Chief executive officer (CEO)

Aidilf Nordin

Aidilf has more than 10 years of working experience in renewable energy, mostly in solar PV and wind energy. He also has a huge passion for environmental and sustainability issues, with a strong educational background related to the field.

His areas of expertise include PV system design and construction, green/sustainable building as well as project management. He founded Suria Dan Sonne in 2015 with the intention of bringing German technology home.

Chief Operation officer (COO)

Mohd Syahmi

Syahmi joined Suria Dan Sonne in 2019 as the Chief Operating Officer to manage the day-to-day operation of the company. He has more than 10 years of experience in the renewable energy industry specialising in biogas, mini hydro and environmental management.

He has a strong educational background in mechanical engineering as well as diverse knowledge and industrial experiences on local and international projects. He has been a SEDA Certified GCPV System Designer since 2019.
